FAQs

  • Do I need to do another startup after a recharge?

If you have had your sprinkler startup done already and are just recharging the system from a soft drain, you do not need to do another startup service

  • What happens if I don't follow these instructions when recharging my system?

If you don't follow the steps in this video, you run the risk of the system not working properly. One of the main issues that arise, is the device on the outside of the house won't "seat up" and seal itself, consequently causing it to spill lots of water continuously. Following these steps will insure you not only protect your components, but also properly seal up the system.

  • Why do I need to do a system recharge?

This video is primarily showing you the proper way to reverse a soft drain on the system. It is not quite the reverse process of the soft drain, and there are some additional steps to make sure it is recharged properly

  • Disclaimer: This video demonstrates a specific method of system recharge procedure. Sprinkler systems vary, and the techniques shown may not be suitable for all situations. Please contact us with any questions or concerns about the process. If you are not comfortable performing this task, and you are in our service location, we can perform a system recharge for you (dispatch fee of $89 would apply). Improper system recharge can cause the system to leak 24/7. In the event you cannot get the system to recharge properly, please turn off the sprinkler at the shut off and reach out to us. 719-481-1216. Thank you!
